And of course these days also have pay attention to manufacturing date as people believe the cartridge may have shelf life for as little as 1-2 years depending on storage conditions. This makes spending that kind of money very risky. This cartridge pops right in and works from the first print. After printing over 100 pages initially, it still produces clean and sharp pages. Time will tell and I will update if there are any negative problems. But I am very pleased with the purchase, especially with the price of under $30 including shipping. HP 4000 Series Toner Cartridge C4127X  Jun 19, 2011 By Brujo I shopped for a remanufactured HP 4000-series toner cartridge C4127X at some length on Amazon and found most of the reviews to be inadequate, often misleading, naive or strangely biased. In most cases the reviews were unhelpful, which is weird considering the fact there are tens of thousands of HP laser printers out there and certainly a great need for replacement toner cartridges. After careful comparisons, I took a chance with Vivamart purchasing two cartridges over a period of a few weeks. The cartridges were were installed and tested in two separate HP 4000 series laser printers. Turns out Vivamart uses multiple suppliers to provide remanufactured toner cartridges. The first cartridge arrived in an almost generic package that stated "LASER Toner Cartridge" 'Color Your Life' with no other branding. This toner cartridge works without fault (no errant lines, and prints nice crisp dark black images and letters) on both of my HP laser printers (a 4050 and a 4000 with add-in network card making it very similar to the 4050 in capabilities and function). After the good experience with the first toner cartridge, I ordered another. The second cartridge arrived in a box branded "Miami Toners". The toner cartridge was defective, without the 'pull seal tab' necessary to activate the cartridge. Vivamart customer service was very responsive and arranged to return the defective cartridge, asking for the brand information so they could avoid sending a replacement from the same supplier. Turns out the replacement they sent was from the first company and the cartridge works very well, exactly like the first experience. It seems like choosing a remanufactured toner cartridge supplier on Amazon can be a scary prospect judging from the mixed reviews from my initial research. However, based on my experiences with Vivamart and the quality of the end result after a satisfactory customer service experience, I would recommend doing business with Vivamart without hesitation. At twenty-nine dollars and change (including shipping) for a cartridge that works exactly like the HP original equipment toner cartridge (which cost more than a hundred dollars, most places), the choice is clear.
